An Iftar of Honor - gila poyo tahap 'cipan'zee!!!
I was particularly touched when my students, Nana and Mamat (brother-and-sister) had kindly invited me to join them for the iftar meal at their house. (..segan pon ada..eh..reti segan ka aku ni? hohoho..rezeki jangan ditolak;p) Since I would be having class with Nana at 5.30pm, I deliberately chose Tuesday. As the class ended an hour before the iftar, I spent the time chit-chatting with the siblings. (..sampai la azan berkumandang menandakan waktu berbuka..hehehe..)
Whoa~ Large servings! The table was literally filled with pretty much all the classic fare; fish head curry, spicy blend tom yam, fish relish, beef tongue stewed in gravy sauce, kangkung belacan, fresh leafy raw herbs (ulam), sambal belacan etc. (..dadah pon ada..eh..dadih la..gila banyak..terasa diriku seperti jin yg kelaparan! hahaha..) Cold and hot drinks as well. (..apa lagik?..makan jangan x makan la aku..hohoho..)
Humangai~ The food was something different, tasty. Fact of the matter, it was the company that made things taste a lot more delicious than they actually are. Excellent food and warm company. (hmm..yg sebenarnya aku ni dah besa sangat dgn family student aku yg ni..bab2 makan ni..dah jd rutin tiap2 kali aku pi ngaja..ada saja..pendek kata..kalau pas class aku x dijamu..x sah!!! kalau class pagi tu memang x makan tengah hari la aku! untung pewot aku..sep duit sungguh..hihiks;p) Alhamdulillah. Thank you Aunty, Nana and Mamat.
P/S: Aunty siap tapau kat aku lagik tau!..kari kepala ikan+tom yam+buboq pulut itam+dadih..nyum2..abes licin sume aku makan! hahaha..
