: : The Tale of Two Brains : :

"Love is blind when the two hearts bind.

Life is complete when the two brains meet."

Yes, it is true. The two brainy brains: my brain and her brain (Fai's)

Both brains met - putting ideas onto papers! I believe that merely generating ideas simply is not enough. Put those ideas into action! It was such a passion 'working' with my second brain who knows everything in my thoughts. Almost everything.

Distance does not matter. It works pretty well with mutual understanding between the two souls. (kan Fai kan..?)

Final draft has been nailed down. Wait for the outcome!

P/S: Fai, you deserve my heartiest thanks and appreciation for that. ("_;)

: : EARTH HOUR POWER : :

Did you bother turning off the lights for Earth Hour? Happy to be in the dark during Earth Hour? My house went dark - supporting global voting against climate change.

I must say, I was quite disappointed during the Earth Hour. Majority did not even attempt to help in the conservation of Earth Hour. I took photos in recognition of voluntary participation of those having a higher state of consciousness and greater self-awareness on this energy-saving campaign.

Kudos to those who took part in the 60-minute conscious reminder of self-awareness of the environment!

: : Afraid of the DARK??? : :

It is just as simple as a flick of the switch!
Join millions of people around the globe by switching off the lights to support Earth Hour, tonigh

: : Life is COLOURFUL : :

It was drizzling while I was driving back home. I was totally amazed when I spotted a rainbow with the warm rays of the shining sun. (Subhanallah..) It has been so long since I last saw one. I was so excited! I got this gradually-faded shot of the rainbow from the angle of my neighbourhood as I reached home.

What a tremendous gift!
I believe it was a symbolic reminder from God to me. A promise of tomorrow, perhaps? Cut off the emotional damage!!!

"Life is like a rainbow. You need both the sun and the rain to make its C.O.L.O.U.R.S appear."

: : Never Walk Home : :

Having a flat tyre is an inevitable experience. Women could not care less about the workings of a motor vehicle and how to change a tyre since some men are as helpless in this res
pect as most women. (sesetengah saja la yang memang tayar sendiri pon x reti nak tukaq! - pardon the expression, "girly-boys";p) Providentially, I was once told by Mr. X to be better prepared for this inconvenience by familiarizing myself with the jack and the spare wheel as well without having to wait for the assistance of others. (ilmu tu penting..kan?kan?kan..?)

The research I did on changing a flat tyre is extremely helpful when I noticed that a nail had picked up a small puncture in the driver’s side rear tyre of my car last few days. (uwaa..sapa punya keja ni???) Assuming that I was relatively safe while considering the loads in my car (mujo x macam bokcha2 dalam keta Along..hihiks..) and the distance from my student’s house, I drove back home cautiously. With a bit of experience and knowledge I managed to replace the flat tyre single-handedly. Yay!

This evening, I went to a car service station nearby and h
ad the flat tyre repaired for RM5. I would like to share simple instructions to prepare readers for the foreseeable inconvenience of getting a flat tyre.

: : LOST in TRUST : :

I had heard stories of how mail was lost and how items in a package sent through Pos Malaysia went missing, but luckily it had never happened to me. (bila sangat la aku pos barang pon..) Using an alternative method such as international courier services will cost a bit more but is believed to save a BIG headache and long heartache from losing valuable items. Yet, it is not safe either. I am one of the ‘potential’ customers who learned bitter-truth lessons about this poor postal service.

Last Sunday, I asked my one-and-only brother, Acik to get me my dream ‘gadget’ from Penang and had the item posted to me via *ahem* this so-called more secure option (nada perli ni..) - Nationwide Express Courier Services Berhad a couple of days ago. Still, the parcel has not been delivered within the next-day stipulated delivery time which is yesterday. (adoyai..aku bukan duk kat tempat jin bertendang kot nak lambat2 sampai..)

I would consider if there has been an unexpected postal delay affecting the delivery - hoping that the parcel arrives today. (tapi, hampeh jugak!!!) I have checked the delivery status on the web by entering the shipment's consignment note number prior to contacting the Customer Service Hotline – but it was disappointing! On enquiring the staff and other concerned persons, they were saying that the parcel is progressing through the system (without assurance) - this means there has been no attempt at delivery yet. I was deeply upset calling the Kuala Lumpur Head Office and Butterworth Branch with no satisfactory answer. In the end, they just asked me to wait until this Monday for the final confirmation. (esok dah Ahad..boleh buat apa ja pon..?)

Having said all that, I doubt of using the service again regardless the delivery status of my parcel. As a service provider, Nationwide Express has lost its credibility towards me.

Copy to your own post, erase my answers, enter yours and tag people you want. Use the first letter of your name to answer each of the following questions. They have to be real; nothing made up! If the person before you had the same first initial, you must use different answers. You cannot use any word twice and you can't use your name for the boy/girl name question.

1. What is your name : YONE - it is pronounced as YON not YON
(silent 'e'..people always get confused;p)
2. A four letter word : YAWN ...huarghhh... :O
3. A boy's name : YAZIMIN
4. A girl's name : YASMIN
5. An occupation : YOUNG entrepreneur
(aku lah tu..huhu..tu pon jenuh pikiaq!)

6. A color : YELLOW (kuning teloq)
7. Something you'll wear: YANKEE pants

9. Something found in the bathroom: YEAST - 'YUCK'y toilet bowl!
(microorganisms are everywhere..)
10. A place : YORK (kat new york kot..ek?)
11. A reason for being late : YEAH, I'm late and students should wait! (wah2..mentang2 la bos diri sendiri..hihihi..)
12. Something you'd shout : YAHOO!!! YABEDABEDU!!!
13. A movie title : YES MAN
14. Something you drink : YOGURT drink - YAKULT!

: : Virgin Blogger Moment : :

Yone is writing her first blog ever!

Ahem.. Welcome to my first long-awaited blog entry! (iyolah tu..huhu..) I have finally decided to join the world of blogging and trying this blog thing out...!!! Through sheer curiosity, at last I managed to get started with my own blog - :: mY B.E.T.T.Y.ful sOuL ::

Have been procrastinating about setting up my own blog since I do not feel like I really have anything worth talking about..(merapu boleh la..hahaha..) Anyways, I would like to thank my dear sister: Isabelle (bukan nama sebenar..hihihi..) who is old hand at blogging and my long-lost best friend: FairuzaFarissa - for being
my inspiration in starting up this blog and making me realize how easy it can be..(perhaps;p)

This blog will be a space for me to share my passions
- personal insights, real world experience, knowledge, inspiration..etc. I hope I am able to make some interesting entries - will persevere and continue posting and not give-up halfway through. (maklomla..satgi duk hangat2 taik ayam pulak..hihiks..) So, stay tuned for my little 'tidbits'!

P/S: Note that I am neither a prolific writer nor an avid reader but then blogging would give me an opportunity to develop on it. (alasan berkesan..hehehe..)
