Strawberry Sundae or Chocolate Sundae?

Strawberry sundae is just perfect for me;) The vanilla taste swirled with a ripe strawberry ribbon! :P~ A special treat that fills me with happiness from the spoonful to the last. nyum2~

How To Make A Strawberry Sundae

I apparently got my cute winter hammies; kimY and cumieY a new 'home' last week. Innocently taking care of them without any past experience, the pregnancy was a big surprise to me. The bigger new 'home' was actually for my pregnant cumieY, and of course for the 'coming' babies. Home sweet home:)

..aku terpaksa mengasingkan pasangan bahagia tu disebabkan cumieY telah menunjukkan tanda2 awal pemberontakkan seekor bakal ibu yg dijangka melahirkan anak2nya dalam tempoh terdekat..maka..terpisahlah dua jasad itu buat seketika sementara menunggu kelahiran yg dinanti2..


Being separated from kimY, with extra bedding and food as well, I could see that cumieY was so happy and comfortable to live alone in her own new home provided she was properly cared. Though, she became visibly obvious with gained fats and more aggressive as the delivery due date approaches.

..masa berlalu dan hari yg ditunggu2 menjelang tiba.. Yesterday, cumieY gave birth to her six squeaky, hairless, alien-looking babies. They were adorable! Hey, perhaps I was lucky to have the chance to fortunately watched the delivery. ..tengok live kot..memang pengalaman yg x dapat aku lupakan..aku terpana seketika melihat cumieY bersabung nyawa melahirkan 6 ekor anak dia tu..

But, I guess it was a big mistake. cumieY ended up eating all her babies.

..not really 'eating'..she was actually 'biting'..bukan gigit2 manja tetapi gigit2 yg membawa derita..tindakan tanpa kawalan cumieY itu telah meragut nyawa keenam2 anak yg baru lahir itu..sungguh mendukacitakan..maka..berakhirlah penantian itu dengan tragedi yg begitu menyayat hati..aku sangka haruan je yg makan anak..ropa2nya..haiwan berbulu juga tidak ada kurangnya.. *sigh*

..dengan itu..aku mengisytiharkan cuti berkabung sepanjang minggu ni.. :(

Note that I order meals with extra vegetables. I always do. I am not a vegan. But, I just like having extra vegetables in my diet. My daily balanced diet. ..hah..balanced la sangat..huhu..sampaikan kalo aku wat megi pon..megi versi 'kesihatan' punya..hahaha:D I love Maggi with mixed veges:D

..sehinggakan baru2 ni aku di'label' HEALTH FREAK oleh sorang member aku ni! gamaknya dia pon nek takot tengok aku duk update status kat facebook lately balik2 tentang makanan2 yg b'unsur sayo..muahaha:D health freak la sangat aku ni..bagi yg dah besa makan dengan aku..tau la macam mana aku punya citarasa makanan..degree 'rasa' aku sangat tinggi..aku suka yg manis..btol2 manis..yg masin..btol2 masin..yg masam..btol2 masam..dan begitulah seterusnya..

..tengok saja bila aku order air limau tu..musti manis tau..tapi malangnya rata2 pembancuh air tidak mengambil peduli request aku tu..cehs~ kechiwa aku..mentang2 le harga gula nek..ayaq pon tawaq hebiaq..kadang tu pulak masam bedengung macam cucuk straw tros kat limau ha..


adoyai~ kalo nak aku + seposen-doposen utk extra gula pon no hal la..ada jugak budak yg amik order cakap kat aku.. "..manis2 nanti kencing manis akak.." cuish~ peringatan maut nampaknya harus dibalas dgn jawapan yg pintar.. "..oh..no worries..doktor yg sarankan akak makan menda b'gula banyak2 sebab gula dalam darah akak t'sangat rendah..jangan lupa wat bagi manis ek..mekasih.." maka..mendengarkan jawapan itu..t'kunci la mulut si polan berkenaan..senang..kan? hohoho:D

I am not a heath freak. I just eat moderately. To me, moderation keeps my body healthy. ecey~ moderate ke??? It is good to be healthy. I do not constantly watch what I eat. Yet, I do not just completely overeat. Extra glucose and extra plain water keep the diet in balance. ..tu kira ikot teori aku..seimbang la..hehehe:P

: : Gigi 'Planta' : :

OMG!!! A person's bad breath can just blow me away! But, sometimes they just do not realize the problem. (..muka lawa mulut bau busuk..adehs~ turun saham kot!!!) How is your breath? Not sure? It can be difficult to ascertain the exact status of our own breath, yet not be aware of it since the oral cavity is connected to the nasal cavity as well. As a result, noses tend to ignore the quality of our own breath.

Poor oral hygiene leads to bad breath as those pieces of food particles left can rot and begin to smell. Yes, bacteria activities then cause plaque to build up on the teeth. ..maka jadilah gigi 'planta'..hahaha:D hah..kalo ada kawan2 yg b'gigi 'planta' tu..bagi kat dia roti..mesti dia paham maksud t'sirat anda..hihiks;P

Letting someone know that he or she has bad breath is not easy. Still, there are a few tactful ways to do that instead of telling them directly. ..sapa2 yg rasa mulut x dak insurans tu bawak2 la belajar menegur org ye..huhu.. You could simply offer mints or sugarless gum without having to say anything.


..paham2 le orang tu nanti..tapi..memang ada yg memang x paham bahasa kiasan ni..maka terpaksa la guna pendekatan len ckit..


As an alternative, you could say that bad breath is not something unusual in which you understand foods can cause bad breath because you have had it before yourself. This would make the person feel more comfortable and less embarrassed about accepting your piece of chewing gum.

..tapi..sapa2 yg suspect sendiri punya breath tu foul..jangan la duk m'harapkan orang pulak duk jadik supplier chewing gum..pandai2 lah yek..

Mint mouthwash is a popular choice today, as well as Listerine mouthwash which is believed very effective. Anyone including me who has had a taste of Listerine would certainly agree that it is powerful. Very fresh, indeed. ..apa kira..hilang 'planta2' suma ha:D I am currently using the New Bright & Clean Listerine Antiseptic Mouthwash and I prefer the taste better than the Original taste I used before. Have you ever wondered what goes on when you use a mouthwash? Try it then! Get mouthy!

WOW! It was super-easy! ..hahaha:D easy celah gigi:P DONE!!! I have no regrets of getting rid of all those little 'bugs' from my laptop after years of internet browsing as well as random installs of freeware. Giving my buddy back the new look, this time I did it myself. ..well..x la susah pon..huhu..



Having a bootable recovery CD as recommended by my very-the-technology brother - Mofis, performing such task becomes much easier. The installation of recovery process done was automatically initialized by the bootable CD and it was pretty straight forward. ..ni memang mudah sdn. bhd. ni..kemahiran tidak diperlukan..huhuhu..


Well, reformatting the laptop is something that should be done periodically to keep the laptop running well from any severe malware attack. But, do not forget the policy to always backup the contents before having any sort of repair done. Though it was time consuming, the result is well worth;)

Eyes are the windows to the soul. It all begins with eyes. Eyes call the attention of others. (..ni la orang cakap..dari mata turun ke hati:P ada btol jugak..) Apart, eyes are 'reflectors' of the feelings and emotions. Eyes have the powerful truth of revealing the soul. In that sense, eyes are certainly 'windows' through which others can 'see' us. (..jom layan sat lagu klasik ni:D)

...ungu mata hitamku??? eh, biru mata hitamku??? oh..tidak..hihiks:D jangan tertipu ek.. Like most Malaysian, I have a favorably dark irises. (..senang cita..itam lah kot..hahaha..tapi..tapi..) Yet, I purposely wear colored contact lenses to serve the same corrective function as glasses which are virtually invisible. (..maka..orang awam tidak ketahuan bahawasanya aku rabun..rabun bukan buta ya..hahaha:D)


Having a warm-toned skin color, I tend to choose a warm color contact lens like brown and hazel to match and blend in well with my natural eye colors. However, lately I feel bored with the natural look. Or, I just need something bold! Dramatic! A more subtle change with a bright-toned contact lens. Yes! An eye color that everyone notices immediately. Lighter shades of violet. Amethyst;)

woohoo~ beraninya aku..beranikah??? kahkahkah:D well..bila lagik kan? kan? kan??? satgi dah tua nak pakai kale cerah2 ni sangat mau orang ingat aku ada selaput mata pulak!:D naya je kan? hihiks:P


Uniquely, the lenses seem to trigger higher frequency spiritual significance in me. (..lagik sekali aku wat ayat poyo di situ..huhu..) A cold undertone that adds sexiness to the eyes. To the eyes, not the wearers;P (..orang kata..orang yg kata ni tau..orang yg sexy x payah pakai sexy2 pon dah 'nampak' sexy dah..macam aku..hohoho:D ni bukan aku cakap tau..ni orang tu cakap..dan untuk makluman semua..orang tu mempunyai index penglihatan yg amat baik..tidak rabun atau buta;P hahaha..)

Whatever, I like my new eye color! And others like it too;)

When it comes to my teaching lessons, I always ask students - "Do you understand?" or "Do you really understand?" Perhaps, they understand. (..budak2 ni x leh tipu aku sebab aku kenai sangat ekspresi muka yg buat2 paham+mengaku paham:P huhuhu..)

Then, I ask myself - "Do students remember the lessons the next day?" "Next few days?" or "Will they retain the lessons long enough and well enough?" ..hari ni bau blajaq memang ingat..esok2 x ingat la tu..adoi~

I teach, yet I learn. I learn a lot on how to teach so students remember. (..di samping pesanan ringkas daripada penaja seperti: larangan mendekati semut..jeruk..kepala ikan dan yg seangkatan dengannya..) I learn on how to increase students' capacity to obtain and retain the information in immediate memory. For them to act on the knowledge in working memory, storing it for long-term memory in which they can retrieve the knowledge in unanticipated situations. I learn, and I help. ..nak tau macam mana aku tolong??? tolong paksa depa mengingat lantaran menghafal menda2 yg penting..wah2~ sungguh kejam bukan??? muahaha:D

I strongly believe mental images help students understand and remember theories better:) Visuals help them to think in pictures and fix concepts in their minds which allow them to relate a concept to quick mental snapshots. ..sebagai contoh..visual comparison for neurone..aku tau student2 ni paling x suka bab2 nak kena ingat important parts of each particular subject..so..aku guna kaedah analogy..lebih mudah+terbukti keberkesanannya..hehehe..neurone and its analogy model..


With that, I have few respective comparisons for better understanding of the parts of the nerve cell - neurone.

nucleus = eye
cytoplasm = pimples
cell body = face
dendrons = hands
dendrites = fingers
axon = body
myelin sheath = dress

The analogy may sound funny or irrelevant but amazingly, my students could remember, draw and label those important parts in less than 2 minutes. ..terer kan? anak murid sapa tah:P tapi..ni yg nak cita ni..ada sorang budak ni..salah label satu part..myelin sheath..jadik..miley cyrus!!! aduhs~ kenapakah??? hahaha:D puncanya aku jugak..dia kata susah nak ingat..aku soh dia ingat miley cyrus..hah..amik..;P amboi~ nama artis kemain lagik boleh eja..huhuhu..


Taking words off a page, this helpful learning style brings the story to life of today's generations. Personally, I prefer to use graphic organizers such as flow charts and concept wheels in teaching Science subjects to help students visually 'see' what they are learning so that they will be able to carry the knowledge forward once it becomes fixed images in their minds.

I always tell my students that they only understand when they can explain it to others. Knowledge is to be shared. Am I right?
